"Thousands of years ago, the supernatural creatures ruled sim nation," Luciano began telling me,"werewolves could turn at will, and while in wolf form could control what they did. It wasn't a curse to them but a choice. Fairies had unlimited magic not controlled by the moon's cycle and could chose to possess sims draining their life force to make them stronger. Ghosts were free to wander between the two dimensions, not forced cruelly to remain in this dimension or go to the Netherworld. Zombies weren't pests, but an actual race that had come from another dimension that switched between the two at will and were probably the smartest creatures. Genies were also dimension drifters and their magic was as powerful in this dimension as it was in theirs," Luciano explained to me.
"Then their were vampires," Vincenzo started, "back then they were called immortals, they didn't drink plasma to survive, although some fancied it. They couldn't be killed, but they could die if they chose to. Their powers were stronger than any supernatural, they could read minds, manipulate emotions, and thoughts. Sims they controlled with ease and they were even completely immune to magic. The immortals ruled the supernatural creatures, but their complete power made them to lazy."
It was hard taking this all in, my emotions were still not their, but believing in the existence of all these supernatural creatures still took a lot of effort.
"Continue," I muttered when I saw both them looking at me.
"They had become lazy, they didn't notice sims because they weren't strong enough to notice. The mating of supernatural creatures to ordinary sims had been denied so they couldn't produce their offspring. This was because their offspring, the hybrids had become what you know today as witches. A spell was activated so that supernatural creatures could only mate with their own and the immortals paid no attention to the witches. However one witch, the daughter of a powerful immortal developed magic that far surpassed many of the supernatural's power. Only the strongest of the immortals could hope to thwart her, but she was careful to keep her power a secret, until it was time. Despite not being tied to the moon, it was tradition to celebrate the full moon upon the highest hill. It was on one of these hills the witch played her cards, drawing on the energy of the full moon, she made a blood sacrifice of all the supernatural creatures that had celebrated there a hundred in total. Their blood gave her the strength to create a curse for every supernatural creature so that they would never become to powerful. Werewolves turned every full moon, and could not control themselves in wolf form. Fairies magic was now limited tied to the lunar cycle. Ghosts were forced to chose and only a few could interact with the living. Zombies became brainless more concerned about eating others brains. Genies who were on this dimension when the curse was placed were forced to stay here in lamps with magic that was weak. The immortals power was severely diminished they could now be killed with a wooden stake to the heart, and to survive they had to consume plasma. The most cruel though was while other supernaturals could still produce offspring, vampires never could."
I shook my head, "But Leviticus?" I protested.
"We were getting to that," Vincenzo told me, "no witch could cast a spell like that without a way to reverse it. She declared that one of her female ancestors, would have to bear a hundred children and her blood be spilled on the rock where the curse was cast and the supernatural creatures would be returned to their former glory. So they waited but no girl was forthcoming, many began to believe the witch had tricked them and she was never to have a female ancestor, many gave up. Not us though, and then you came Larnika a female ancestor, the one destined to break the curse. Your also the only mortal able to bear supernatural children."
I took a step back, that couldn’t be right, I wasn't that person. Then again I suppose Leviticus is proof. "I have to have 97 more children," I breathed out in disbelief.
Luciano shook his head, "No you have to have 99 more children."
"I have Greyson and this one," I countered looking at my stomach.
"Well our trip to Italy revealed that all of your children must be supernatural, it was after all the blood of a hundred supernatural beings that were sacrificed," Vincenzo corrected me.
"Then I get sacrificed?" I questioned, did they really believe I would do that.
"No your blood will be spilled but you Larnika will live," Luciano told me, brushing his hand over my cheek.
"What makes you think I'll even do it?" I asked them.
Vincenzo shrugged, "Because if you don't we'll kill your parents, Greyson, your unborn child and then we'll just make you anyway," Vincenzo told me.
Luciano nodded, "There are so many possibilities, we could make you watch while zombies ate your children's brains, then maybe you would like to see wolves rip them apart," I didn't let him go any further,
"Stop," I shouted. I may not be feeling many emotions but I knew how I should feel and I could feel my sadness making its way to the surface. "I'll do it, its not like I have a choice," I muttered feeling defeated. I couldn't win against them, I cursed the ancestor who had forced this upon me.
