It wasn't long before the results of my night with Brent began showing. As usual I developed the typical nausea and cravings.
I was beginning to wonder if I would ever become pregnant and not have morning sickness. Somehow I doubted it. A week later it was confirmed I was pregnant.
I thought my life would be easy with two kids, a teenager and a baby, but I had never been more wrong. Greyson and Jessi drove me up the wall, Greyson would not stop teasing her.
Jessi was the perfect target for this since she always gave him a reaction. I had tried to explain to her about ignoring him, but I was beginning to understand kids just don't understand that concept. Despite this I knew they were close, because Jessi often had nightmares and I would always find her the next morning beside Greyson's bed doing something.
The sight always touched my heart, it reminded me of me and my brother. Even though he drove me crazy, I knew I could count on him for anything. Even though Jessi allowed Greyson to tease her, nobody else was allowed to. Unfortunately for Carlos he learnt that the hard way.
I think he quite enjoyed pushing the children, but after a scolding from Jessi it never happened again.
Greyson I knew didn't like Moonlight Falls very much, according to him you were in one of two categories here you were a supernatural or a supernatural wannabe. Greyson was neither. Jessi was a wannabe, she had me worried sick one night when she explored the catacombs by herself, because someone told her an old witch would turn worthy sims into fairies. Instead the poor girl got mauled by a bear and we had to spent a couple of nights in hospital, which wasn't what I needed when I was pregnant.
Jessi however was not put off, she liked to turn the dining table into her fairy court, pretending she was queen of the fairies.
I figured if she ever found a way to turn into one, she would do it a heartbeat. Lucky Leviticus promised me, there wasn't anyway for her to be turned into a fairy, which made me worry about her a little less.
Ash aged up into a toddler, looking rather like his father.
He took straight to the blocks, anytime I entered the nursery there he was again playing with them.
He screamed and cried every time I took them away to try and teach him to talk.
It was a miracle he even slept and ate. The occasional time he wasn't with his blocks I had seen him make toys disappear and he had an unusually strong bond with Carlos. Peter assured me when I called that Ash was a witch, I smiled at the news my second supernatural child. I went into a labor a couple weeks after the news and gave birth to my next son Alexander Butler and a daughter Alexandra Butler.
However while Alexander had inherited his father's werewolf genes, Alexandra was completely human. I knew I should have been disappointed but I loved them both to bits and in my eyes they were completely perfect. Greyson had his birthday aging up into a teenager.
That however was the start of distance between him and the rest of the family, he moved out into the studio and wasn't really interested in helping out with his younger siblings. Leviticus tried talking to him but afterwards he just advised me to give him time. I agreed, I after all couldn't force him to be part of this family. When he did talk to me he asked me about Sunset Valley, a call from my parents explained why, apparently Greyson wanted to go to Sunset Valley University and even though it was years away, brushed the idea past his grandparents about him staying with them. It made me feel horrible knowing I hadn't called my parents in a while but what could I tell them? They were asking my permission so I agreed as long as they were fine with it. We all decided in the summer holidays he could stay there, just to get him out of Moonlight Falls for a bit. I asked Jessi to go as well, but she throw one storm of a tantrum and eventually I let it go.
I knew I would have to work on finding my next father and I drifted off to sleep with the thought in my mind.
When I woke up I knew instantly something was wrong. First I was in my normal clothes not in my night ones. Second I could hear some sort of a laughter but it reminded me more of a cackling. I opened my eyes to find myself standing in a room, with only a bookshelf in it. I knew the noise was coming from behind the bookshelf and I walked towards it warily. My hands seemed to know what to do even if my mind didn't and I pushed against a book and the whole thing opened.
A cold wind hit me and when I stepped inside, I felt something like I never had before. A sense of power, that no supernatural creature I had encountered yet could even touch on. The laughter stopped as I looked upwards and six words seemed to swirl around my head and into my ears. The words made me terrified, "Welcome to the Sisterhood of Shadows."
