Chapter 11 Life Goes On

Life progressed much the same throughout my pregnancy. Leviticus and Greyson grew close while they were both children and liked to do things together.

However Greyson being older meant I got the daddy questions, which was hard enough to answer considering he had thought Jessie was his father. I promised him when he was a little bit older we would be able to talk about it. Leviticus had his birthday, turning into a handsome teen, who instantly took a liking to music and I always seemed to find him playing one instrument or another.

Now that he was older he decided he would go into a big room, leaving Greyson alone.

I knew Greyson was a bit upset he had seemed to have lost his friend and he spent lots of time, outside in the snow. If I didn't call him in, he stay out there all day and night.

I tried to encourage him to befriend Carlos, considering talking to him had done wonders for Leviticus. I knew it was just a cat but venting your feelings to something always helped. Greyson took my suggestion on board but Carlos was having none of it.

Greyson was unimpressed telling me he would never listen to anything I said again. Leviticus helped out a lot with the kids and I decided to teach him to drive as a reward, Luciano had brought him an old-fashioned car so Leviticus was over the moon about it.

Another thing gifted to me by Luciano was something called a bonehilda. I had never heard of such a thing but when I saw it I nearly fainted in fright, I had never been more terrified in my life.

However I quickly got use to the presence especially since she was extremely helpful around the house.
It was late one night when I was working on my book that I felt my first contractions, I didn't want to leave the kids at home so I decided on a home birth. In the early hours of the morning I welcomed my son Ash Butler into the world.

I wasn't sure how to find out whether or not he was a witch but I called Peter the next day and he said they normally manifest their powers when they become teenagers but it could be sooner. However he was going to be their to teach his son how to control his magic, if he had indeed inherited it. I was at least happy about that, I would have no idea how to talk to my son about being a witch. Life continued to move forwards, however a call from Vincenzo recommending a certain vampire to have as my next father, bristled me. I may be forced to bear one hundred babies, but he had no right to chose who fathered them. So I purposefully introduced myself to the new werewolf in town, Brent Blue (by beckles123)

Apparently werewolves and vampires truly did have an old rivalry something about a vampire turning half a prominent werewolf pack against their will. Leviticus had told me about, since they had learnt in history class, but I couldn't quite remember the whole story. Brent was ecstatic to meet me, since had moved here after hearing about me. Apparently most of the supernatural population outside of Moonlight Falls thought the curse was just a myth. I assured him it wasn't and he agreed to become the father of my next child.

One because we actually got on, and two because the thought of having a child with someone who wasn't a werewolf was legendary to him.

I regretted my actions when I made my way home though, I had purposefully gone against Vincenzo and I knew he would not be impressed. Yet, I didn't hear anything from him so I assumed he was letting this one go. To be honest I couldn't stand to be around him and Luciano, after all how could I ever forget what they did to Jessie? Speaking of which Jessi had her birthday and aged up into a beautiful child, although she still bore no traces of him.

I was dreading having to have the Jessie talk with her and I could tell Leviticus sensed it. "Mema's it'll be alright," he promised me.
"I can't believe I'm doing this, Leviticus what am I releasing into the world. I'm making dangerous people even more dangerous," I told him, realizing as the words came out of my mouth that Leviticus was still to young to have this conversation with.
"I know you don't understand right now," Leviticus started gently, "but one day you will realize that what you're doing is for good. When people look back and think about Larnika Butler, I promise you Mema they will view you as a hero, supernatural and sim alike," he assured me. I don't know why but when he talked it was as if it was someone else, he sounded wise beyond his years and his eyes looked old.
"Thank you, Leaf," I murmured, using my old nickname for him, and I meant it. I didn't know why but his words instantly made me feel better. Leviticus gave me a hug before kissing me goodnight.

Yet, I was left wondering what Leviticus knew that I didn't.
